How did you get to here?
Not really sure but I am so very glad that I am.

What drives you on to achieving the mission?
Making my late Dad proud.

Favourite parts of training so far….
Inspirational games of I-Spy whilst out rowing in Mission Atlantic, the overnight rows, the day rows, the man overboard drills followed by lashings of smash and soy sauce in the sunshine, the free weight-training and just realising what a fantastic team I am a part of.

And least favourite…..
The cleans…..they make me so angry…closely followed by burpees.

What have you learnt about yourself that you didn’t know before?
That I can break toilet handles clean off without even trying.

Any fears or apprehensions?
That we are prevented from achieving our mission by factors outside of our control.

What do you think you will miss the most during the race?
My family, my fab friends and of course Alfie, my little black panther.

And miss the least?
The Guernsey winter.

What do those closest to you make of all this?
They weren’t really surprised at all. They are really proud and have been 100% supportive from day one which has been overwhelming.
